It is my vision to set up an Institute
where our young, budding dentists will

comparable to the best anywhere. Seema
Dental College & Hospital (SDCH) is that
Institute, where we lay great emphasis on
the all round growth and the personality
development of the student, so that they may
take their place as confident and competent
professional in any part of the world and
contribute to the welfare of humanity not
only as professional, but also as
responsible and devoted citizens. |

Here at Seema Dental College &
Hospital, we have the initiative to
educate people of not only Uttarakhand but
at the national-international level. we are
not only limited to under graduation and
graduation programs, we are ahead for
developing the institute with post-graduate
dental courses and up-to University
one day, so that we can achieve the
aim of disseminating awareness of dental
health among the people and providing the
facilities to make dental health and hygiene
accessible to all, in both urban and rural
areas. |

It gives
me immense privilege to be part
of this noble venture of “Dental
Education started by my
father Dr. R. K. Gupta, the
first of its kind in the State
of Uttarakhand.
Myself, who belongs to medical
fraternity, do know the
importance of medical science
for mankind. In present medical
scenario where diseases have
taken new dimensions, we require
good doctors who are capable of
diagnosing the disease and
giving the right treatment to
ease human suffering from
illness.
Usually it has been noticed
that people do not take proper
dental care basically due to
lack of awareness and
non-availability of qualified
dental surgeons.
Here at Seema Dental College &
Hospital, we have taken the
initiative to educate people of
Uttarakhand and around,
regarding dental hygiene. |

Since we believe in
cutting-edge technology, we are
providing the students studying
dentistry with all the latest
equipments, to deliver state of the
art dental care and treatment to a
very large number of patients.
And this indeed is a
matter of great satisfaction to us.
The basic
requirement of providing students with
infrastructure, teaching staff along
with affordable dental treatment with
latest technology to the needy is our
top priority.
We do hope that
initiative taken by us to bring dental
awareness among masses will be
continued by the doctors who have
completed their dental education.
The aim and mission
of this college is to provide the best
dental education to the youth at par
with international standards and not
at all a commercial money spinning
institution.

Seema Dental College & Hospital, a result of the vision and dreams of Dr. R.K.Gupta run under the aegis of Dr. B.S.Gupta Medical trust, is now under the leadership of a young and dynamic chairman Dr. Amit Gupta. It has come a long way in the last decade. It stands proud as, the only recognized Dental Institute in the state of Uttarakhand, running a Post Graduate curriculum in 4 specialties of dentistry.
The availability of a world class Infrastructure along in the presence of a dedicated teaching faculty makes it all the more conducive for the students to realize their true potential, and finally establish themselves in life.
For we firmly believe that �an education system isn�t worth a great deal if it teaches young people how to make a living but doesn�t teach them how to make a life�.

The high level of patient care utilizing the cutting edge technology at Seema Dental College & Hospital not only helps the people in Rishikesh and surrounding areas, but also keeps the students and their teachers in an up gradation mode always.
As a practicing clinician for over 20 years who has been associated with active academics for more then15 years, I feel privileged to be working as the chief operating officer in such a fertile environment. I hope to contribute to make Seema Dental College & Hospital an institution to be reckoned with not only on national forum but at the International for a as well. |

Dr. Himanshu Aeran , an
alumni of King George’s
Medical College Lucknow, is
one of the renowned
Academician and
Prosthodontist in the
Country. Professor Aeran
also pursued a course on
Precision Attachment Anchora
from Germany & a Fellow
of International College of
Dentists & Pierre
Fouchard Academy, U.S.A. He
is a committed teacher,
guide and researcher with
numerous publications to his
credit.
He is currently an
executive member of Indian
Prosthodontic Society,
member of editorial Board of
Journal of ICD, Journal of
IPS, U.P. State Dental
Journal & Journal of
IJDS. He is actively
involved in social service
by organizing numerous
dental camps and in polio
Eradication Programmes.
According to him Health is
a State of physical, mental,
social and emotional well
being in which we function
with comfort, confidence,
creativity and contentment
when leading and
economically productive
life.
He works with the motto to
provide best possible
academic environment, so
that the students graduating
from the college would be
competent enough to take
care of society with
humanitarian touch and
having knowledge &
excellence at par with
international standards.

The Seema
Dental College and Hospital is the
materialized dream of one of the
greatest philanthropist Dr. R.K.
Gupta, President, SDCH. He not only
realized this remarkable task of
creating such magnificent Dental
institution but also formed a
dedicated team of efficient workers
who are carrying forward his vision
in an exemplary way. His efforts are
being carried forward by his son Dr.
Amit Gupta who is the Chairman of
the College.
The Seema Dental College and
Hospital is managed and run under
the aegis of Dr. B. S. Gupta Medical
Charitable Society. This is the
first ever and the only recognized
dental college of the State of
Uttarakhand. Under his able
leadership the College is going to
achieve new heights for the time to
come. In a short span of 7 years,
Seema Dental College and Hospital
has accomplished what many
prestigious Institutions in India
have taken over 25 years to achieve.
