General Information The total number of seats at Seema Dental College and Hospital are 100. Out of these 50% seats are the management seats and rest 50% seats are the Government seats. For the management seats as well as for the government seats separate entrance examinations on All India basis are conducted in the month of May every year. For the management seats, any student from any part of the country can appear in the examination provided he fulfills the age and the eligibility criteria whereas for the government seats the candidates who have the domicile of Uttarakhand are eligible to sit in the examination. Every year in the month of January/February applications are invited from eligible candidates for appearing in the common pre medical entrance examination. The Reservation as per the State Government norms applies for the government seats and there is no provision of reservation for the management seats. The candidates are offered admission on the basis of merit.

The duration of the BDS Course is Five years. The curriculum is based on the directives of the Dental Council of India (DCI), New Delhi. The course commences in the first week of August.

Age : The candidate should be atleast 17 years of age as on 31st December of the Calendar year. Date of birth in the High School / I.C.S.E or its equivalent certificate will be taken as accepted.

For the Academic Year 2011 - 2012 : the Uttaranchal Council of Entrance Examination (UCEE), an association formed by the private unaided medical and dental colleges of Uttarakhand conducting the Common Pre Medical Entrance Examination (CPMEE) for the management seats on All India basis on May 30, 2011. The result of the said examination is to be declared in 1st week of June 2011. The counseling is scheduled in the last week of June, 2011 and the students will be offered admission on the basis of the merit. One can log on to www.uceeindia.org for more details.

Fee Structure : The Govt. of Uttarakhand vide its notification 324 / XXVIII (1) / 2009 – 32 / 2003 TC dated 11 May, 2009, has revised the tuition fee to Rs. 1,95,000/- per annum. Please note that fees might be revised from time to time.
